Download the Fomo app for iPhone from the App Store and you get the version the company builds first. Fomo launched on iOS in April 2025, and the iPhone app still gets every feature before Android does: Apple Pay deposits, Face ID on every trade, the trader feed, the meme coin leaderboards, perps and all six chains. 15.6K ratings average 4.8 stars, which puts it near the top of the Finance category.

How to download and install the Fomo app on iPhone

Six steps, about three minutes from the App Store to a funded account. Apple Pay does most of the work, and step two keeps clone apps off your phone.

  1. Open the App Store listing 1 min

Tap Download on the App Store above. It opens "fomo - never miss out", app id 6741115427, directly. Searching the App Store for "fomo" works too, but the results include unrelated apps with the same word, and the button skips them.

  2. Check the seller Safety

Under the app name it must say FOMO Labs Inc. Clone apps exist. If the seller is anyone else, back out.

  3. Get and open

Tap Get, confirm with Face ID. The download is about 107 MB and the app opens straight to sign-up. Allow notifications when asked; alerts for the traders you follow are the point.

  4. Sign up with Apple or email

Sign in with Apple is the fastest and hides your email address from Fomo. In the background a self-custodial wallet is created with split keys. No seed phrase appears, and none should.

  5. Enter the referral code 10% off

Type referral code GEMQUEENX in the field on the sign-up screen. Trading fees drop from 0.5% to 0.45% for the life of the account. The app asks once, at sign-up.

  6. Deposit with Apple Pay

Tap Deposit, choose Apple Pay, double-click the side button. The balance shows up in about a minute. Or send USDC or SOL from another wallet, which skips the card fee. The buy screen also shows a $0 fee on your first purchase.

What the Fomo iPhone app does that Android does not

It is the same app with the same account and the same balance on both platforms. The differences are the Apple ones, and two of them are worth knowing before you download.

Apple Pay

Deposits confirm with Face ID and land in about a minute. Google Pay on Android does the same job, but Apple Pay's card coverage is wider and fails less often with prepaid cards.

Sign in with Apple

Creates the account without giving Fomo your real email address. That is a small privacy win and it also means your recovery path is your Apple ID, so keep two-factor on it.

Face ID on trades and withdrawals

Available since January 2026, off by default. Turn it on before you deposit.

iPad

The iPhone app runs on iPad in compatibility mode. The web app at fomo.family in Safari is the better big-screen option.

Mac

No native app. Apple Silicon Macs can install the iOS build from the Mac App Store, but the web terminal has TradingView charts and a proper layout. See Fomo Web.

Perps on an American iPhone. The app installs fine in the US, and spot trading works, but the perps tab is blocked for US persons by location and by terms. That is a legal line, not a bug, and a VPN does not change the terms you agreed to. Details in Fomo Perps.
Troubleshooting

When the iPhone install goes wrong

The app does not appear in the App Store

Your Apple ID region is a restricted country, or Screen Time is capping apps below 17+. Check Settings, then Screen Time, then Content Restrictions.

"This app requires a newer version of iOS."

Update to iOS 16.4 or later in Settings, General, Software Update.

Apple Pay declined

The Coinbase on-ramp turns down some prepaid and business cards. Add a different card to Wallet, or deposit USDC from an exchange.

"Error signing in" with Sign in with Apple

The most common complaint in recent reviews. Force-quit the app, make sure the Apple ID has two-factor on, then try again. If it persists, the email-code login works with the same account.

Phone gets hot, battery drains

The live feed and charts keep sockets open. Close the app when you are not trading; the push alerts still arrive.

Sells feel delayed in a fast market

That is on-chain liquidity, not the app, but the delay is real. Size positions so a few seconds of slippage does not hurt.

App Store reviews

What iPhone users say

The App Store listing averages 4.8 stars across 15.6K ratings. Here is a fair sample from the most recent US reviews: three positive, two mixed, one negative, each quoted as written. Names are the reviewers' App Store nicknames; avatars are generated.

Puts actual runners in the trending. Unlike pump, it puts real runners in in the trending. Pulls coins from various launchpads. Great so far but only time will tell.

RepoMan1121Sep 01, 2026 · App Store · v1.87.2

Stick with it. At first this all seems very confusing but I've been at it for a little while now and things get much easier. Don't get frustrated.

ikrahimSep 02, 2026 · App Store · v1.89.1

Very good app. It’s a good app but I would to see price alerts notifications then this will be the best app ever

Andrew GoatzAug 26, 2026 · App Store · v1.87.1

Solid App. Fun, easy, great UI, bid ask spread could be better

ImbeingHonestyAug 31, 2026 · App Store · v1.87.2

Delays. The app is great, but there’s always a delay when buying and selling. I only mention it because I’ll enter at a certain price, but the delay sometimes causes my average entry to be higher than what I actually bought at. With selling, I sometimes end up taking a loss because of the 3–5 second delay.

39DeepAug 31, 2026 · App Store · v1.87.2

Buggy and heats up the phone. This thing heats up your phone and starts draining battery like crazy within a few minutes of use. I know it’s not just me since other people I know have the same issue. How does a company with that much money behind it have no idea how to optimize their app? I have much more intensive apps that run without issue.

The pattern across recent iPhone reviews: praise for speed, Apple Pay and the feed; requests for stop loss, take profit and price alerts; complaints about sign-in errors and about losing money on memecoins. The first two are on Fomo. The third is what memecoins do.

FAQ

Fomo iPhone questions

Which iPhones can run the Fomo app?

Any iPhone on iOS 16.4 or later, which covers the iPhone 8 and everything newer. It also installs on iPad. The download is about 107 MB.

Why is the Fomo app rated 17+ on the App Store?

Because it involves real money and unregulated trading. Apple puts every crypto trading app in the 17+ bracket. If your Apple ID has Screen Time content limits below that, the listing will not appear until they are raised.

Does the Fomo app work with Apple Pay?

Yes, and it is the fastest way in. Tap Deposit, pick Apple Pay, confirm with Face ID and the balance is ready to trade in about a minute. The card processing runs through the Coinbase on-ramp. Crypto deposits in USDC or SOL skip the card fee entirely.

Is there a Fomo app for Mac?

Not a native one. The web app at fomo.family runs in Safari or Chrome on any Mac with the same account, wallet and balance as the iPhone app. On Apple Silicon Macs you can also install the iPhone app from the Mac App Store, but the web version is the better desktop experience.

Can I use Face ID to lock the Fomo app?

Yes. Biometric confirmation for trades and withdrawals arrived in the January 2026 update. Turn it on in settings before you deposit; it is off by default.
