Bots and channels

Fomo Telegram Bot: is there one?

There is no Fomo Telegram bot. The Fomo app from FOMO Labs has no bot, no AI trading bot and no Telegram channel: you trade in the iPhone app, the Android app or the web app, and alerts arrive as push notifications. The confusion comes from two places. A different perps app owns the @fomo handle on Telegram, and a few independent bots have borrowed the name. This page sorts out which is which, what Fomo has instead of a bot, and how to sign up on the real app with referral code GEMQUEENX.

There are two products called FOMO on Telegram, and neither is this app

Fomo Telegram bot: there is no official Fomo bot, @fomo on Telegram is a different app, and alerts come as push notifications

Search Telegram for fomo and you will find a verified-looking account with an announcements channel, a mini app and a hundred thousand subscribers. It is real and it is not the app this site is about. That FOMO is a perpetuals product on Hyperliquid with the X account @onfomo, and its automatic copy trading with a $500 minimum is exactly the feature people are hunting for when they type "fomo telegram bot". The Fomo from FOMO Labs, the one at fomo.family and in the App Store, has no Telegram bot, no mini app and no channel.

We spent a while confirming that, because the absence of something is hard to prove. Fomo's own social links are X, Discord, Instagram and YouTube. Its help centre describes push notifications in the app and nothing on Telegram. Its co-founders have said in public that the product is the feed, and a Telegram bot would strip out the profiles and the theses that make the feed worth opening. It would also need to hold your key on a server, which the split-key wallet is specifically designed not to allow.

The third-party bots are a mixed bag. Fomo Eye sends token alerts and says on its own page that it is not official and still an MVP. Robinhood Radar ranks public Fomo profiles and describes itself as read-only. Neither can touch a balance, because nothing outside the app can. The "Fomo AI trading bot" and "insider bot" ads are a different category: there is no such product, and whatever they are selling is either a different platform or a deposit scam wearing the logo.

What Fomo has instead of a bot is a push per followed trader, a one-tap copy from your own balance, limit close orders on perps, and a feed where every signal has a face and a track record attached. Sign up on the real app with referral code GEMQUEENX, turn on the bell for the traders you rate, and ignore anyone on Telegram who wants your private key, however good the logo looks.

Two products, one name

Why searching "Fomo Telegram bot" finds a different app

Type fomo into Telegram and the top result is a verified-looking account called FOMO with an announcements channel and a mini app. It is real, and it is not the app this site covers. That FOMO is a perpetuals trading app built as a Telegram mini app on Hyperliquid, with the X account @onfomo, the channel @tradeonfomo and documentation at docs.onfomo.com. Its docs describe automatic copy trading with copy slots and a $500 minimum, which is the feature most people are looking for when they search for a Fomo bot.

The Fomo on this site is the social trading app from FOMO Labs at fomo.family: spot trading on six chains, perps through Hyperliquid and trade.xyz, a feed of named traders, and manual copy trading with no minimum beyond the $0.95 fee floor. The two companies share a word and a market and nothing else. An account on one does not exist on the other, and the referral code on this page works only on fomo.family.

Positioning

Fomo is not a bot, and says so

Before the desktop version launched, Fomo told its followers that what it was building was not a trading terminal. The same sentence rules out a bot. Terminals and Telegram bots are built around one thing, executing a swap faster than the next person, and the interface is whatever gets you to that swap with the fewest taps. Fomo is built around a feed of people. Open the app and the first screen is who bought what, at what price, and why, with a Buy button next to each row.

That choice shows up everywhere a bot would normally sit. There is no sniper that fires on a new pool, no wallet-mirroring toggle, no slot to paste a contract address and set an auto-buy. The app is faster than most people expect, a Solana buy clears in a second or two with gas paid, but it never trades on your behalf. The terminal page goes through what the desktop version does have, and the copy trading page covers the manual copy flow in detail.

What Fomo has in place of a Telegram bot

Most of what people want from a bot, Fomo does inside the app. The one thing it refuses to do is trade without you.

Push alerts per trader

Follow a trader, tap the bell, and every buy and sell they make sends a push to your phone with the token and the size. It is the alert channel a Telegram bot would give you, with a face and a track record attached.

One-tap copy

The alert opens the trade. Tap Buy, pick the amount, and the same token is in your position list from your own balance. Two to four seconds behind the trader, which is the honest cost of copying by hand.

Limit close orders on perps

The one order that runs while you are away: set a take-profit or stop price on a perp and the position closes on its own. It is an exit order, not a bot, and it only touches the position you opened.

A feed instead of a signal group

Telegram signal groups post a contract address and a rocket emoji. The Fomo feed posts the buyer's name, their 30-day PnL, their position size and a thesis if they wrote one. Same information, with the source attached.

Leaderboards by chain

Top traders over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and all time, on each of the six chains, with their open positions. It replaces the "top callers" channel, and nobody can pay to be on it.

Sending tokens to friends

A bot tip command becomes a Send button: pick a friend on Fomo, pick a token, add a note. They get it in their wallet with the message, without either of you leaving the app.

Third-party bots

Telegram bots that use the Fomo name

A few independent tools have been built around the app's public data. None of them are from FOMO Labs, and none of them can touch a Fomo balance. Here is what each one is.

Fomo Eye alert bot

An independent Telegram bot that sends market-cap alerts on tokens and flags trader activity, with a paid tier bought in Telegram Stars. Its own page states that it is not an official Fomo integration and is an MVP in testing. It reads DEX Screener data on a one-minute loop, so it can miss a move between checks. Read-only, no trading.

FOMO Robinhood Radar

A research bot that ranks public Fomo profiles trading on Robinhood Chain and describes itself as read-only, never trades. It works from data anyone can see on a Fomo profile page. Useful for shortlisting traders to follow; not a channel into the app, and not run by Fomo.

"Fomo AI trading bot"

Ads and channels sell a Fomo AI bot that trades for you. There is no such product. Fomo has no AI bot and no API a third party could trade through, so whatever is being sold either runs on a different platform or is a deposit scam dressed in the name.

"Fomo insider bot"

The name promises early access to launches or wallets before the feed shows them. Fomo's feed is the public record of its traders; nobody sees it earlier through a bot. Treat any insider bot as a paid signal group at best and a drainer at worst.

Check before you tap

How to tell a real Fomo channel from a fake one

The fake ones follow a script: a Telegram account with the Fomo logo, a support agent who messages first, a link to a site that looks like fomo.family, and a form asking for a seed phrase or a wallet connection. Each step in that script fails a simple check. Three minutes, four checks.

  1. Start from the official list 1 min

Fomo announces on X at @fomo, runs a Discord at discord.gg/fomofamily, and posts on Instagram as tryfomo and on YouTube. Telegram is not on that list, and the list is in the footer of fomo.family. Anything on Telegram is by definition not Fomo.

  2. Check what it asks for Safety

A Fomo account has no seed phrase, no API key and no connect-wallet button, so a bot cannot ask for any of them and be real. The only secret that exists is an exported private key, and the app itself warns you never to paste it anywhere.

  3. Check the domain

The app is at fomo.family with one o. onfomo.com is the other company. fomoo.family, with two, ran a "Connect wallet" drainer earlier this year. Type the address rather than tapping a link from a chat.

  4. Check who spoke first

Fomo support does not open chats with users on any platform. Help is under Profile, Settings, Help inside the app. A support agent, an airdrop or a giveaway that reaches you first on Telegram is the scam pattern, whatever logo it carries.

If you already pasted a private key into a bot: move the funds now. Open the real app, send everything to a fresh wallet or an exchange, and treat the old key as burned. The legit and safe page explains what Fomo can and cannot recover, which is nothing once a key has left your hands.
Compare

Fomo vs Telegram trading bots like Trojan and BONKbot

If a Telegram bot is what you want, Trojan, BONKbot and Maestro are the real ones on Solana, and they are good at the thing they do: a swap from a chat message in under a second, with a sniper and auto-copy built in. The trade-off is custody and cost. The bot generates the wallet and holds the key on its server, and the fee is around 1% plus gas on every trade. Fomo sits on the other side of both lines.

Plenty of traders run both. The pattern we see is Fomo for finding trades and taking the ones they choose, a bot for sniping launches where a two-second lag is the whole game. What does not work is expecting one to be the other. The fees page has the full cost comparison, and the Solana page covers where each tool wins on that chain.

Where you trade

The Fomo app: iPhone, Android and web

Everything a bot would do for you happens in one of three places, and they share one account. The iPhone app and the Android app carry the push alerts and the Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits. Fomo Web at fomo.family is the same feed and wallet on a desktop screen with bigger charts. Follow a trader on one and the follow is on all three; open a position on the web and it is in your pocket a second later.

Sign-up is the same screen on each: email, Apple or Google, no password and no KYC. The referral field is on that screen only, so type referral code GEMQUEENX before you tap Continue. It takes 10% off every trading fee for the life of the account; adding it later means a support chat, as the guide on how to add a Fomo referral code later explains. The login page walks through each platform if you get stuck.

FAQ

Fomo Telegram bot questions

Does Fomo have a Telegram bot?

No. The Fomo app from FOMO Labs, the one at fomo.family and in the App Store and Google Play, has no Telegram bot, no Telegram mini app and no Telegram channel. Trades happen in the iPhone app, the Android app or the web app. A bot that calls itself Fomo is either a third-party tool or a different product that shares the name.

Who owns @fomo on Telegram?

A different company. The @fomo handle and the FOMO Announcements channel belong to a perpetuals trading app that runs as a Telegram mini app on Hyperliquid, with the X account @onfomo and docs at docs.onfomo.com. It is not the Fomo app from FOMO Labs, and an account there does not log in to fomo.family.

Is there a Fomo AI trading bot?

No. Fomo has no AI bot, no auto-trader and no copy bot. The app shows you what named traders are buying, sends a push alert when someone you follow trades, and puts a Buy button next to it. Every trade is your tap. Anything sold as a Fomo AI bot that trades for you is not from Fomo.

Is the Fomo Eye bot official?

No. Fomo Eye is an independent Telegram bot that sends market-cap alerts for tokens and watches trader activity using DEX Screener data. Its own page says it is not an official Fomo integration and is still an MVP. The same goes for the Robinhood Radar bot, which reads public Fomo profiles on Robinhood Chain. Neither can trade from your Fomo balance, because nothing outside the app can.

Can a Telegram bot access my Fomo wallet?

Not unless you hand it your exported private key. The Fomo wallet key is split between your device and Fomo through Privy, and a trade needs your session in the app. There is no API key to paste into a bot and no "connect Fomo" button anywhere. If a bot asks for a seed phrase, that alone gives it away: Fomo accounts have no seed phrase.

How do I contact Fomo if not on Telegram?

Support is inside the app, under Profile, Settings, Help, and by email to the address on the fomo.family site. Announcements go out on X at @fomo and in the Discord server at discord.gg/fomofamily. Anyone messaging you first on Telegram as Fomo support is not Fomo support.

Why does Fomo not build a Telegram bot?

Because the product is the feed. Fomo makes money on a 0.5% trade fee and gets its users from traders watching other traders in the app; a Telegram bot would strip out the profiles, the PnL and the theses that make the feed worth opening. Telegram bots like Trojan are built for speed on one chain and hold your key on their server. Fomo went the other way on both.
