Fomo App vs Axiom Trade: the feed or the terminal

Fomo and Axiom Trade have spent 2026 trading places at the top of Solana's trading-app volume charts, and they are built for different people. Fomo is a phone app with a feed of named traders, a 0.50% fee and the Solana gas paid for you. Axiom runs in the browser as a full trading terminal, with a launch sniper, limit orders and a tracker for 10,000 wallets, at 1% plus your own network fees. Below are the fees on each at six trade sizes, how the two compare on speed and perps, and which one is better for the way you trade.

Is Axiom better than Fomo?

Not across the board. Axiom is the better tool for sniping launches, setting limit orders and running several wallets from a desk. Fomo is cheaper on Solana trades above about $90, pays the gas, works as a real phone app and shows you a feed of named traders with their reasons, which Axiom does not have.

One memecoin, two very different screens

Fomo vs Axiom Trade: Fomo charges 0.50% with Solana gas paid, Axiom 1% plus your own gas, and Fomo passed Axiom on daily Solana volume on August 6, 2026

Picture the same coin bought twice. On Axiom it turns up in Pulse seconds after launch as a row of numbers: its age, the holder count, the dev's share, how many of the early buys look bundled. You check the chart, pick a preset with your priority fee and bribe already set, and click. On Fomo it reaches you as a push notification. A trader you follow just bought it, at this price, with one line on why. You read the line, tap buy, and Fomo pays the gas. Both trades settle on Solana against the same pools. Everything around the click is different.

Both approaches built big businesses. Axiom was part of Y Combinator's W25 class, hit about $101 million of volume a day in April 2025 and has taken more than $750 million in fees since January 2025, by DefiLlama's count. Fomo's iPhone app arrived in April 2025, and on August 6, 2026 it passed Axiom on daily Solana volume. In the 30 days to September 30 the two took in almost the same fees: $35.9 million on Fomo, $37.5 million on Axiom. Fomo charges about half as much per trade, so getting there took a lot more volume, $7.5 billion of it.

Which app is better depends on the job. Axiom is for traders who treat speed and information as the edge: first into a launch, holders read before anyone else, the exit set before the entry fills. Fomo is for traders who want to know who else is buying and why, from a phone, with no gas to manage and no seed phrase to store. You can also keep both, and the fee table below shows where each one is the cheaper place for a trade.

A word on where we stand. This site is an independent Fomo guide, not FOMO Labs, and we earn a referral when you sign up with referral code GEMQUEENX. We also name an Axiom invite code where it saves you money, and earn from that too. So we kept the numbers checkable: fees from Fomo's help center and Axiom's docs, volumes from DefiLlama, and the rows where Axiom wins stay in the table.

Fees

Is Fomo cheaper than Axiom?

On most trades, yes. Not on all of them, and the reason is how each app prices a small order. Axiom's fee is 1% flat, 0.8% with an invite code, and you pay the Solana network fees on top: a priority fee and a bribe, 0.001 SOL each at Axiom's defaults, about 24 cents a trade with SOL at $118. Fomo charges 0.50% from $190 up and pays the network fees itself, but prices smaller Solana orders in bands: a flat 10 cents below $5, then 2% up to $47.50, then a flat 95 cents up to $190.

What one Solana buy costs on Fomo and Axiom, network fees included
Solana buyFomoFomo + GEMQUEENXAxiomAxiom + TradeNowCheaper
$10$0.20$0.20$0.34$0.32Fomo
$40$0.80$0.80$0.64$0.56Axiom

$250$1.25$1.13$2.74$2.24Fomo
$1,000$5.00$4.50$10.24$8.24Fomo

Without codes, Fomo is cheaper under about $24 and over about $71, and Axiom is cheaper in between. With a code on each app the stretch where Axiom wins widens to roughly $20 to $89. Selling costs the same again, so a round trip doubles every figure in the table.

Fee duel Slide to your trade size
Fomo$0.95
Axiom$1.24

At $100, Fomo is cheaper by $0.29 a buy.

Axiom at its default priority fee and bribe, 0.001 SOL each, with SOL at $118 on October 1, 2026. Fomo does not say whether the 10% discount applies to its Solana bands, so the code only changes Fomo's figure from $190 up.

Axiom pays some of its fee back. Cashback in SOL starts at 5% of your fees at the first tier, Wood, and rises with volume to 25% at Champion. A new account nets 0.95%, or 0.76% with an invite code. A Champion account with a code nets 0.60%, still above Fomo's 0.45% on a large trade before Axiom's network fee is counted.

Off Solana the bands go away. Fomo charges 0.50%, or 0.45% with the code, plus the network fee. Axiom charges its 1% plus gas paid in the chain's own token, ETH on Base and Ethereum, BNB on BNB Chain. On the majors the gap is widest: BTC, ETH, SOL and the rest of Fomo's Crypto tab cost 0.05% on Fomo, a twentieth of Axiom's rate. Every Fomo fee is on the Fomo app fees page.

Speed

Is Axiom faster than Fomo?

Right at launch, yes, and on purpose. Axiom routes orders through its own nodes, and each preset stores its own priority fee, bribe and MEV setting, from no protection at all to sending the order only to Jito or to a list of trusted validators. You set how much each order pays to jump the queue. Its migration sniper fires the instant a coin graduates from its bonding curve to a pool, and Instant Trade gives you one-click buys and sells next to the chart, plus hotkeys.

Fomo has none of those dials. It sets the priority fee itself, pays it, and you tap buy. There is no sniper, no hotkey and no fee setting to get wrong. On a coin that has been trading for an hour, the difference rarely shows. On a launch where the first block decides your price, a terminal with a sniper wins, and if that is your game, Fomo is the wrong tool for it.

Copy trading

Fomo's feed vs Axiom's wallet tracker

Both apps let you follow other traders, but they disagree on what a trader is. On Axiom it is a wallet address. You add up to 10,000 of them to the tracker, give each a name and an emoji, and their buys show on your charts and as pop-ups, with Vision and Trader Scan to help find wallets worth adding. Axiom's docs describe copying through Instant Trade, one click when an alert lands, not an automatic copier. Lobbies add a private chat with shared PnL for friends.

On Fomo it is a person with a profile, a public PnL and a line about why they bought, as in the clip. Their trades fill your feed, a push tells you when they buy, and one tap copies the trade at your own size. You give up Axiom's reach, since it can watch any wallet on the chain, and get the reason behind each trade in return. The Fomo copy trading guide has the steps and the risks.

A thesis on every trade
Phone

Does Axiom have a phone app like Fomo?

No. Axiom runs in the browser at axiom.trade. You can add it to the home screen of an iPhone or an Android phone and it opens full screen, but there is no Axiom Trade app in the App Store or on Google Play, and the store apps with Axiom in the name are made by other companies. Any Axiom APK you find was made by someone else, and that is a bad place to keep a wallet.

Fomo started on the phone, and it shows. The Fomo iPhone app has 4.8 stars from 15.6K ratings, the Fomo Android app has 500K+ installs, and the same account opens at fomo.family on a computer with the feed, the chart and your balance already there. If most of your trading happens away from a desk, this is the row that decides it. Links and setup are on the download Fomo app page.

Fomo Web

Fomo Web is not trying to be Axiom

When Fomo brought the app to the desktop in April 2026, its own launch post said "fomo web is not a trading terminal," and the clip is that announcement. Fomo Web puts the chart, quick buys and the feed side by side, and leaves out launch lists, presets and multi-wallet trading.

That makes the choice simpler than it looks. If you want a terminal, Axiom is the better terminal of the two. If you want the feed on a big screen and a cheaper fill on anything over about $90, Fomo Web is the better pick. The Fomo terminal page goes through the panels one by one.

Fomo Web: not a trading terminal
Perps

Fomo perps vs Axiom perps

Both send crypto perpetuals to Hyperliquid, so the order book, funding and liquidation rules underneath are the same. The differences are in what sits on top.

For crypto perps alone, Axiom's 0.01% is the cheaper layer. Fomo's case is range and one balance: SpaceX and NVDA next to your memecoins, with no money to move between accounts. Fomo perps are not open to US persons. More on the Fomo perps page.

Chains

Which chains do Fomo and Axiom support?

Five overlap: Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain. Fomo adds Monad. Axiom adds Ink, Arc and HyperEVM, plus Polymarket's prediction markets in a tab of their own.

ChainFomoAxiom
SolanaYes, gas paidYes
BaseYesYes
BNB ChainYesYes
EthereumYesYes
Robinhood ChainYesYes
MonadYesNo
InkNoYes
ArcNoYes
HyperEVMNoYes

The bigger difference is how money moves between them. Fomo runs every chain from one USD balance, so buying a Base coin with money that came in on Solana is one tap and there is nothing to bridge. Axiom has a chain selector and a Convert tool that swaps across chains inside the wallet, and gas comes out of each chain's native coin, so you keep a little ETH or BNB on hand.

Safety

Which is safer, Fomo or Axiom?

Neither holds your money the way an exchange does, and neither asks for ID. Fomo's wallet has no seed phrase: the key is split between your device and FOMO Labs through Privy, and you can export the private key from Settings, Account. Axiom's wallet runs on Turnkey and gives you a 12-word recovery phrase, shown a single time when you sign up, and a single account can run as many as 25 wallets. Both let you take your key to Phantom or another wallet.

The risks are the usual ones, and both names attract them: lookalike sites, fake support on Telegram and Discord, and for Axiom, store apps and APKs it never made. The Fomo wallet guide covers the key export, and is Fomo legit lists what we checked.

Two rules for both apps. Type the address yourself rather than following an ad or a DM, and never paste a private key or a recovery phrase into a site, a bot or a support chat. Neither Fomo nor Axiom will ever ask for one. And most memecoins on either app go to zero, so size every trade as if it will.
Verdict

Fomo or Axiom: which one should you use?

Pick by the trades you actually make, not by which app had the better month.

Pick Fomo if

You trade from your phone. Your Solana buys are usually over $90, or you buy the majors. You want to see who else is in a coin, and why, before you buy. You would rather not hold SOL for gas or keep a seed phrase.

Pick Axiom if

You snipe launches in their first minutes. You want limit orders, take profit and stop loss on spot. You run several wallets, trade Ink, Arc or HyperEVM, or want Polymarket in the same account.

Use both if

You want the feed on your phone and a terminal on your desk. Keep Fomo for following people and bigger buys, Axiom for launches and exits, and send each trade to whichever is cheaper at its size.

Both

How to use Fomo and Axiom together

Two accounts, two wallets and a simple rule for which trade goes where. Fifteen minutes the first time.

  1. Open Fomo with a referral code 10% off

On the iPhone or Android app, or at fomo.family, type referral code GEMQUEENX in the referral field. If your account is already open without one, Fomo support can add it. The Fomo app referral code page has the details.

  2. Open Axiom with an invite code 20% off

Axiom only attaches a code when the account is created, so do it first. Invite code TradeNow through axiom.trade/@tradenow fills it in for you. Copy the recovery phrase onto paper, not into a notes app.

  3. Route by size

On Solana, buys under about $20 and over about $90 are cheaper on Fomo, and the ones in between are cheaper on Axiom. BTC, ETH and SOL cost a twentieth as much on Fomo.

  4. Route by job Safety

Launches, limit exits and multi-wallet trades on Axiom. Following traders, phone trades and stock perps on Fomo. Back up both keys: Fomo's exported private key and Axiom's recovery phrase, each somewhere offline.

FAQ

Fomo vs Axiom questions

Is Axiom better than Fomo?

For sniping launches, limit orders and trading from several wallets at a desk, yes. For the fee on most Solana trades above about $90, the majors at 0.05%, phone apps and following named traders, Fomo is the better pick. They are built for different kinds of trading, and nothing stops you from using both.

Is Fomo cheaper than Axiom?

On most trades. On Solana, Fomo charges 0.50% from $190 up and pays the gas, against Axiom's 1% plus about 24 cents of priority fee and bribe at its default settings. Between roughly $24 and $71 Axiom is cheaper, because Fomo charges 2% or a flat 95 cents on small orders. With a code on each app that window widens to about $20 to $89.

Does Axiom have a mobile app?

Not in the App Store or on Google Play. Axiom is a web app at axiom.trade that you can add to your home screen, and the store apps with Axiom in the name come from other companies. Fomo has native iPhone and Android apps, and the same account opens at fomo.family on a computer.

Can you copy trade on Fomo and Axiom?

Yes, in different ways. Fomo shows the trades of named traders in a feed with their reasons, and you copy one with a tap. Axiom tracks up to 10,000 wallet addresses and lets you copy a trade with one click through Instant Trade when an alert comes in. Axiom's docs do not describe an automatic copier, and Fomo does not have one.

Which has lower perps fees, Fomo or Axiom?

Axiom. It adds 0.01% to Hyperliquid's own fee, while Fomo adds 0.05% per side, or 0.045% with referral code GEMQUEENX. Fomo has more markets, including US stocks, SpaceX, indices and commodities through trade.xyz, and keeps perps in the same balance as your spot trades. Fomo perps are not open to US persons.

Is there a Fomo or Axiom token?

No. Fomo has no token, no points and no airdrop. Axiom has no token either, but runs a points program and says points may bring future rewards without naming any. A coin sold under either name is not theirs.

Which referral codes work on Fomo and Axiom?

On Fomo, referral code GEMQUEENX takes 10% off the standard fee, from 0.50% to 0.45%, and Fomo support can add it after sign-up. On Axiom, invite code TradeNow takes 20% off, from 1% to 0.8%, and has to go in when you create the account. This site earns a referral from both.
