Fomo Copy Trading: see the trade, take the trade
Fomo copy trading is manual and fast. You follow top traders, your phone buzzes when one of them buys, and you copy the trade in one tap from your own balance at the normal 0.5% fee. This page shows how to do it step by step, where to find traders worth copying, what it costs with referral code GEMQUEENX, and the timing lag that makes copy trading meme coins riskier than the feed makes it look.
- Push alert on every trade you follow
- One tap to copy, your own size
- No extra fee for copying

What is Fomo copy trading?
Fomo copy trading means following traders inside the Fomo app, getting a notification when one of them buys or sells, and taking the same trade in one tap from your own balance. Every copy is a manual decision: Fomo does not mirror trades automatically.
How does Fomo copy trading work?
Open the app and the home tab is a feed, not a chart. Each row is a trade by someone you follow: who, what token, how much, the entry price, the PnL right now, and a line of text if they wrote one. Follow a trader and turn on the bell, and the same rows arrive as push notifications. Tap one and you land on the token page with the Buy button under your thumb, the trader's entry marked on the chart, and your own presets. Pick an amount, confirm, done. Fomo pays the gas, the trade settles on whichever chain the token lives on, and the position shows up in your portfolio next to theirs.
That is the whole mechanism. There is no "copy this wallet" switch, no percentage of your balance to allocate, and no bot. Fomo made copying a social act instead of an automated one, which is slower than a GMGN copy bot and, for most people, safer. The steps below take about ten minutes the first time.
Install Fomo and sign up 10% off
Get the app from the App Store or Google Play, or open fomo.family. Sign up with email, Apple or Google, and type referral code
GEMQUEENXon the sign-up screen. It takes 10% off every trade you copy, permanently.Open the leaderboard and pick traders 30 days, not 24 hours
The leaderboard ranks traders over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and all time. Switch to 30 days, open five or six profiles and look at the PnL curve, the trade sizes and the chain they trade on. A curve that climbs across many tokens beats one vertical line from a single launch.
Follow, then turn on trade alerts
Tap Follow on the profile, then the bell. From now on each buy and sell they make sends a push notification. If nothing arrives, check Profile, Settings, Notifications, and on Android make sure Google Play Services is installed; the alerts depend on it.
Watch the feed for a day Do this
Before copying anyone, watch how they trade. How long do they hold? Do they sell half on the first pump? Do they post a thesis or just a ticker? The feed shows all of it with timestamps. A day of watching saves a week of losses.
Copy a trade in one tap Your own size
Open the alert, tap Buy on the token page, choose your amount and confirm. Sizes above about $200 keep the fee at a flat 0.5%; below that the $0.95 minimum kicks in, so a $20 copy costs almost 5%. The trader's size is theirs; yours is yours.
Plan the exit before it matters
Spot trades have no stop loss or take profit on Fomo. Either follow the same trader's sell alert, which reaches you a few seconds after they are out, or set your own target and sell from the position screen. Do not wait for a "sell" push to decide what you think.
Where do you find traders to copy on Fomo?
Three places inside the app, all with the same public track record behind them. Every trade a Fomo user makes is on-chain and on their profile, so a fake PnL screenshot does not work here.
The leaderboard
Top traders and top tokens per chain, ranked over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and all time. The 30-day tab is the one that means something. Per-chain token rankings are on the Solana leaderboard and its siblings.
Top traders on a token
Every token page lists who has made money on that token and who is still holding, with their entries and exits drawn on the chart. If you are already in a coin, this is where you find the people who trade it well.
The feed itself
Sort the global feed by popularity or performance and the same names keep appearing on the winning side. Open a profile from any row, read the last twenty trades, follow or move on. Most good follows start here, not on the leaderboard.
Is Fomo copy trading automatic?
No, and this is the question most people arrive with. Fomo has no copy bot. You cannot point the app at a wallet and have it buy 5% of your balance every time that wallet buys. Each copy is a notification, a tap and a confirmation, signed from your own session. Part of that is philosophy: the founders, three ex-dYdX engineers, built a social network where trades are posts, and a bot posting on your behalf breaks the idea. Part of it is the wallet: your private key is split between your device and Fomo's infrastructure through Privy, and a trade needs your login to sign, so there is no server-side agent that can fire while your phone is in a drawer.
What that costs you is speed. A GMGN or Axiom copy bot fills within a block of the wallet it tracks; a human on Fomo takes ten to forty seconds from the buzz to the confirmation. On a blue chip that is nothing. On a meme coin that just got a big buy from a wallet with 20,000 followers, it is the difference between the trader's entry and one that is 5% to 15% higher. The section on the lag below has the numbers. What it saves you is the other half of copy-bot stories: the wallet that dumps on its followers, the rug it bought at 3am, the 200 trades a day at 1% each that quietly ate the balance.
How much does copy trading cost on Fomo?
Nothing beyond the normal trade fee. There is no charge for following, no cut of your profit paid to the trader you copied, and no subscription tier that switches alerts on. A copied trade is just a trade: 0.5% of the amount, gas paid by Fomo, or 0.45% with referral code GEMQUEENX. The minimum of about $0.95 per trade is the one number to watch, because copy traders tend to fire off many small buys, and small buys are where the floor bites.
| What | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Following a trader, alerts | $0 | Unlimited follows |
| Copied buy or sell | 0.5%, or 0.45% with code | Gas included on all six chains |
| Minimum per trade | About $0.95 | A $50 copy pays 1.9%; a $200 copy pays 0.5% |
| Cut for the trader you copy | $0 | They earn nothing from your copy |
| Worse entry from the lag | Typically 1% to 15% | Not a fee, but the real cost of copying meme coins |
Ten $20 copies a day cost $9.50 in fees for $200 of exposure. Two $100 copies cost $1.90 for the same exposure. Fewer, bigger copies of the trades you actually believe in is the fee strategy, and it happens to be the risk strategy as well. The full schedule is on the fees page.
Which traders are worth copying?
The leaderboard makes this look easy and it is not. A 24-hour ranking is mostly whoever caught one launch; a 30-day ranking with a smooth curve is a trader. Here is the list we use before following anyone.
Worth a follow
- 30-day PnL that rises through ten or more different tokens
- Trade sizes in the same range as yours, so their fills are yours too
- Sells that are staggered, not one dump at the top
- A thesis on most trades, even a short one
- Trades on chains you hold balance for
- Still active this week; a great March record is not a trader
Skip
- One vertical line on the PnL chart from a single launch
- Positions ten or more times bigger than yours: they move the pool, you eat it
- Tens of thousands of followers on a thin coin; you are exit liquidity by design
- Buys and sells within the same minute, over and over
- Profiles that only ever post wins
- Anyone who tells you to copy them in the thesis
The copy-trading lag: why your entry is worse than theirs
This is the part no copy-trading page on any platform likes to draw, so here it is drawn. A trader buys a thin meme coin. The push reaches you two to four seconds later. You unlock the phone, open the alert, tap Buy, pick a size, confirm: ten seconds if you are quick, forty if you were doing something else. On a token with a few hundred thousand dollars of liquidity and a trader people watch, the price has already moved by the time you fill. The same thing happens on the way out, in reverse, and the trader sells into the pool before you know they have.
Two ways to blunt it. First, copy traders whose size is close to yours; a $300 buy does not move a pool, a $30,000 buy does. Second, treat the alert as a signal, not an order. Look at the chart, and if the candle already ran, let it go; the trader will make another trade tomorrow. The people who lose money copy trading on Fomo are almost always chasing the third or fourth alert of the day into a spike, and that is not something the app can fix for you.
Fomo copy trading vs Axiom, GMGN and Trojan
The terminals and Telegram bots do automatic copying from any wallet address. Fomo does manual copying from named traders with public records. Different tools; here is where each one stands.
| Fomo | Axiom | GMGN | Trojan | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Copy execution | Manual, one tap | Automatic bot | Automatic bot | Automatic bot |
| Who you copy | Named traders with public PnL | Any wallet address | Any wallet address | Any wallet address |
| Finding them | Feed, leaderboard, token page | Wallet tracker | Wallet rankings | Paste an address |
| Alerts | Push per followed trader | In-app, Telegram | Telegram | Telegram |
| Fee per copied trade | 0.5% (0.45% code), gas paid | About 0.75% to 0.95% plus gas | 0.7% to 1% plus gas | About 0.9% to 1% plus gas |
| Chains | 6 from one balance | Solana, plus perps | Solana, BNB, Base, ETH and more | Solana |
| Where it runs | iPhone, Android, web | Web | Web, app, Telegram | Telegram |
If you want a bot, Fomo is the wrong pick and the GMGN comparison says so. If you want to see who is buying, why, and whether they have done this before, nothing else has the feed. The traders we follow mostly run both: Fomo for discovery and the trades they choose, a terminal for the rest.
Copy trading on iPhone, Android and Fomo Web
Follows, alerts and the feed are one account. On the iPhone app and the Android app you get the push notifications and Apple Pay or Google Pay for topping up between copies. On Fomo Web at fomo.family you get the same feed on a big screen, with each trader's entries and exits drawn on a TradingView chart, which is the best place to judge whether a copy is still worth taking. The push still goes to the phone, so the usual setup is the terminal open on the desk and the phone next to it.
Fomo copy trading questions
Does the Fomo app have copy trading?
Yes, and it is the reason the app exists. You follow traders, their buys and sells land in your feed with the entry price and live PnL, your phone gets a push when they trade, and one tap buys the same token from your balance. What Fomo does not have is a copy bot: nothing fires without you pressing the button.
Is Fomo copy trading automatic?
No. Every copy is a manual tap. There is no allocation percentage, no auto-mirror and no "copy this wallet" toggle that trades while you sleep. That is a design choice tied to the wallet: your key is split between your device and Fomo through Privy, so a trade needs your session. If you want fully automatic copying, GMGN, Axiom and Trojan run copy bots; they also charge more per trade and leave the gas to you.
How much does copy trading cost on Fomo?
The same as any trade: 0.5% with gas included, or 0.45% with referral code GEMQUEENX, and a minimum of about $0.95 per trade. There is no extra fee for copying, no performance cut for the trader you copy and no subscription. The only cost specific to copying is the worse entry price you get by arriving a few seconds after the trader did.
Who are the best traders to copy on Fomo?
Nobody on the 24-hour leaderboard, at least not on that basis alone. Switch the leaderboard to 30 days, open the profile, and look for a PnL curve that rises through several tokens rather than one lucky launch, trade sizes in the same range as yours, and a habit of posting a thesis. Then follow four or five, not one, and watch the feed for a day before copying anything.
Can I copy trades on Fomo Web?
Yes. The web app at fomo.family shows the same feed and the same follows as your phone, with the trader's entries and exits drawn on the TradingView chart. Push alerts still arrive on the phone, so most people watch on the desktop and get the buzz on the iPhone.
Can other people copy my trades?
Yes. Every trade you make appears on your profile with its PnL, which is how the leaderboard and the public track records work. The trade is on-chain anyway; Fomo just puts a name and a face on it. If you would rather trade quietly, this is the wrong app.
Is docs.onfomo.com the same as the Fomo app?
No. That documentation describes a different product with an automatic copy-trading feature, copy slots and a $500 minimum. The Fomo app from FOMO Labs lives at fomo.family, and its copy trading is manual with no minimum beyond the $0.95 fee floor.
