What the code does, what it does not do, and why we still think it is worth it
A Fomo referral code is a fee discount and nothing else. Type referral code GEMQUEENX on the sign-up screen and the standard trading fee on that account drops by a tenth for good: 0.50% becomes 0.45%. There is no deposit bonus, no free token, no cash for signing up. If a page promises any of that, it is not describing Fomo.
Ten percent sounds small until you run it against a trading habit. Someone who turns over $20,000 a month in meme coins pays $100 in fees at 0.50% and $90 at 0.45%; over a year that is $120 back for typing nine letters once. A heavier trader doing $100,000 a month saves $600 a year. The savings calculator further down does the maths for your own numbers, and it is honest enough to show that someone trading $500 a month in small buys saves close to nothing.
Timing matters, though less than most code pages claim. The referral field sits on the sign-up screen and the app never shows it again, so the easy route is to copy the code before you open the app. Miss it and you are not stuck: Fomo's help center says support will attach a code to an account that has none, and will switch an existing referrer to a different one on request. That takes a support chat instead of a paste, which is why we still say copy it first.

How the Fomo referral program works
Every Fomo account has a referral link. A Fomo referral link is fomo.family/r/ followed by the username, and the code is the username itself. When someone signs up through it, two things happen. The new user gets 10% off trading fees for the life of the account. The referrer earns 25% of that user's trading fees, paid by Fomo out of its own fee, so the new user pays less, not more.
How the referrer gets paid depends on the chain. On Solana the referred user's first buy earns nothing, and every trade after it pays out straight away, inside that trade. On Base, BNB Chain and Monad the earnings build up and land in batches, usually once or twice a day. Either way they go to the cash balance on their own; there is nothing to claim.
That is also our disclosure. Referral code GEMQUEENX is ours. If you use it, Fomo pays us 25% of the fees you generate. Your rate is 10% lower than it would be with no code, and we never see your account, your trades or your balance.
