What is Fomo Family?
Fomo Family is the fomo app from FOMO Labs, named after its website fomo.family: a social crypto trading app where you follow traders, see their trades in a feed and copy them in one tap, on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain, from an iPhone, an Android phone or a browser.
A trading app that calls itself a family
Most trading apps name themselves after speed or money. Fomo put its website on a family, fomo.family, and so many people now call the whole product Fomo Family that the nickname has become a search term of its own. It suits the app. The first screen is not a price list but a feed of the traders you follow: who bought what, at what price, and the line they wrote about why.
In August 2026 Fomo made the idea literal. Clans let a group of traders share a feed and a leaderboard and climb it together, and Fomo's launch video told people to form a family and trade as a squad. Within weeks Fomo said more than 150 clans were running. Follow the same five traders for a month and it does start to feel like a group chat that happens to move money.
Underneath the social layer sits an ordinary self-custodial wallet. There is no seed phrase, the key is split between your phone and FOMO Labs through Privy, and trades route through each chain's own pools on six chains. The fee is 0.50% a trade, with gas included on Solana, and referral code GEMQUEENX takes it to 0.45% for the life of the account.
The family framing has a catch, and we would rather say it than bury it. A family of strangers is still strangers. A trader with a great month can have a terrible week, a thesis can be wrong with total confidence, and a feed that shows everyone buying the same token is very good at making you want it too. Use the feed to find ideas, size every position as if it can go to zero, and treat nobody in the family as an oracle.
Why is it called Fomo Family?
Because of the web address. The app is listed on the App Store as fomo - never miss out, the company is FOMO Labs, and the site where you sign up and trade on a computer is fomo.family. Even the official Discord invite is discord.gg/fomofamily. Say the address out loud a few times and Fomo Family is what comes out, which is why search boxes are full of it.
The name also matches what Fomo built next. Clans, launched in August 2026 and shown in the clip, are groups of traders with their own feed and leaderboard, and Fomo's launch video pitched them as forming a family and trading as a squad. So Fomo Family is a nickname for the whole app and, in a narrower sense, the group you trade with inside it.

A clan is only as good as the people in it, so Fomo made inviting them the easy part. The clip shows the pitch: bring friends into your clan and trade as a squad, with one feed and one leaderboard for the group. A few weeks after launch, Fomo said more than 150 clans were already running.

Is Fomo Family safe?
The company is real and so is the money behind it: FOMO Labs has raised $94 million, with rounds led by Benchmark and Index Ventures, and the wallet is built so the company cannot move your funds. The key is split between your phone and FOMO Labs through Privy and only comes together inside secure hardware to sign a trade.
The risk sits elsewhere. Most memecoins on the app will fall a long way, copycats like fomoo.family and fake Telegram support go after the name, and losing both your email and your Apple or Google login without an exported private key means losing the wallet.
