Fomo App API: there is no official one
The Fomo app has no official API. FOMO Labs offers no developer portal, no API keys, no SDK and no public endpoint for trading, account data or the social feed, and its terms of service ban bots, scrapers and reverse engineering. Every Fomo API, Fomo Family API, SDK or wallet finder you find online is built by someone else, outside Fomo, and nobody stands behind it. Below: what the terms say, what the unofficial services risk, and the safe ways to get your own trade data.

Does Fomo have an API?
No. Fomo has no official API: FOMO Labs offers no developer portal, no API keys and no SDK, and its terms ban bots, scrapers and reverse engineering. Every Fomo API sold or shared online is unofficial, and nobody can promise that it works, stays up or is safe to connect to your account.
Why a trading app this size has no API
Most crypto exchanges hand out API keys on day one. Fomo, with more than 625,000 users and billions of dollars a month in volume, has never offered one, and that is a choice rather than an oversight. The whole app is built around a person reading a feed and tapping a trade. An open API would let bots read the same feed in milliseconds and buy in front of the people it was written for.
The terms of service spell the position out. Section 16 bans automated scripts and bots that execute trades or control account activity, any scraper or unauthorized third-party app that pulls data from the service, and any attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer the software behind it. It even rules out copying the content by hand without written permission. There is no developer program that sits on top of that, and no exception for "read-only" tools.
Demand found a way around it anyway. By October 2026 there were paid "Fomo API" services, SDKs on GitHub that wrap the private backend the web app talks to, handle-to-wallet finders and Telegram bots that offer to copy Fomo traders for a fee. Every one of them says in its own small print that it has nothing to do with fomo.family. That is the honest summary: unofficial, unsupported, and one backend change away from breaking.
Our view is simple. If you want numbers about your own trading, read the chain or download the tax report; neither needs anyone's permission. If you want automation, Fomo is the wrong app, and we would rather say so than point you at a bot. The cost of that design is real: no limit orders on spot, no auto-copy, no scripts. For a feed-first app, we think it is the right trade.
Does Fomo have an official API?
No. We checked the places an API would live. The Fomo app has no developer or API key section in Settings, fomo.family links to no developer docs, we found no API article in the help center, and no announcement of one from FOMO Labs. Nothing in the terms grants API access either; the only APIs they mention are the third-party infrastructure Fomo itself uses to reach Robinhood stock tokens.
So when a search for "Fomo Family API" or "Fomo app API" returns a docs page, a pricing table or a GitHub repo, read the footer. It belongs to somebody else. The same goes for anything called "the official Fomo API": no such product exists, and a site that claims otherwise is worth avoiding for that reason alone.
What do Fomo's terms say about bots and scrapers?
Fomo's terms of service, dated August 17, 2026, list what you may not do in section 16, Prohibited Uses. Three lines in it cover every kind of unofficial API:
- Bots
Use automated scripts, bots, software, or any other automated means to create accounts, send messages, post content, execute trades, or otherwise control or interact with account activity on the Services
- Scraping
Use any automated tool, scraper, crawler, spider, or unauthorized third-party application to extract, collect, harvest, or compile data from the Services
- Reverse engineering
Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer any of the software or underlying technology used to provide the Services
In plain words: a tool that trades for you, a service that pulls profiles and trades out of Fomo, and an SDK built by taking the app apart are all on the wrong side of the terms. If Fomo blocks one, there is nobody to complain to, and an account linked to one is an account Fomo is entitled to act against.
Unofficial Fomo APIs, SDKs and wallet finders: the risks
We do not name or link any of them, on purpose. They fall into four groups, and each comes with its own problem.
Paid "Fomo API" data services
They sell trader profiles, PnL, trades and leaderboards through an API key of their own. The data comes from Fomo's private backend or from guesswork on chain data, so it can be wrong or stale, and the service can stop the day Fomo changes something. You are paying for access Fomo never agreed to.
Unofficial SDKs on GitHub
Code that wraps the private backend the web app talks to, worked out by reverse engineering. To do anything useful it needs your Fomo login session, and a session is your account. Nothing stops an update, or a copy of the repo, from sending that session somewhere else.
Wallet finders
Tools that turn a Fomo handle into wallet addresses, or a wallet back into a handle. Matches can be wrong, and the same tools are used to follow your wallet and trade around you. Treat their output as a lead, not a fact.
"Fomo trading bots" and copy bots
Telegram bots and apps that promise to copy Fomo traders automatically, for a fee per trade. They trade from a wallet they control, or from your exported key. Whoever holds the key holds the money, and Fomo cannot help you get it back.
How to get your Fomo trade data without an API
You do not need an API to see your own trades. A Fomo wallet is an ordinary wallet on public blockchains, so the record is already out in the open.
Find your wallet addresses 1 min
In the app open Profile, Settings, Account. You get a Solana address and one EVM address that covers Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain. The Fomo wallet guide shows the screen.
Read them on a block explorer
Paste the Solana address into Solscan and the EVM address into Basescan, BscScan or Etherscan. Every Fomo trade is a normal on-chain swap; on Solana it is co-signed by a Fomo wallet that pays the gas. This is public chain data, not Fomo's servers, so reading it breaks no rule.
Download your tax documents Free
Fomo has tax documents built into the app through Awaken, a crypto tax service, with your gains and losses worked out. It is the closest thing to an official export of your history.
Use public statistics for platform numbers
For Fomo-wide figures, DefiLlama measures volume and fees from on-chain data and publishes them for free: about $5.5 billion of Fomo volume in the 30 days to early October 2026. It is a public dashboard, not a Fomo API.
Can you trade on Fomo with a bot or an API?
No. Fomo has no trading endpoint, and its wallet is built so a trade needs you. The key is split between your device and FOMO Labs through Privy, and a buy is signed from your own logged-in session. That is also why Fomo copy trading is a tap rather than an automatic mirror, and why there is no official Fomo Telegram bot.
You can export your private key and move the wallet into another app. Once you do, anything you automate happens outside Fomo, with your money and at your own risk, and the key itself becomes the thing to protect. If automation is what you are after, a terminal is the better tool; the Fomo vs Axiom Trade comparison shows where each one fits.
Fomo API, Fomo Family API, fomo.com: which is which?
Part of the confusion is the name. Here is who is behind each "Fomo" you might run into while looking for an API.
| Name | What it is | Official API? |
|---|---|---|
| Fomo app, fomo.family | The social crypto trading app from FOMO Labs | No |
| fomo.com | Now forwards to fomo.family, the same app | No |
| "Fomo API", "Fomo Family API" sites | Third-party services built without Fomo | Unofficial |
| @fomo on Telegram | A different perps app built on Hyperliquid | Not Fomo |
| Fomo sales pop-up API | An older marketing tool for online shops that used the same name | Not Fomo |

Fomo API questions
Does Fomo have an API?
No. FOMO Labs has no official API for the Fomo app: no developer portal, no API keys in the app, no SDK and no public endpoints for trading, account data or the feed. Its terms of service ban bots, scrapers and reverse engineering.
Is there a Fomo Family API key?
No. There is no API key section anywhere in the Fomo app or at fomo.family. A site that sells or hands out a Fomo Family API key is selling access to its own unofficial service, not to anything FOMO Labs runs.
Are the Fomo API websites official?
No. Every Fomo API, Fomo Family API, SDK and wallet finder you can find online is built by a third party without Fomo's involvement. They say so in their own small print. Nobody guarantees that they work, stay online or return correct data.
Can I build a trading bot for Fomo?
Not legitimately. Fomo has no trading API, every trade is signed from your own session, and the terms ban scripts and bots that execute trades or control account activity. A service that offers to trade your Fomo account needs your login or private key, and with either one it can empty the wallet.
Can I export my Fomo trade history?
Yes, without any API. Fomo has free tax documents built into the app through Awaken, and every trade is an ordinary on-chain transaction that you can read on Solscan, Basescan, BscScan or Etherscan from the wallet addresses under Profile, Settings, Account.
Will Fomo release an API?
FOMO Labs has not announced one. The app is built around people tapping trades from a feed, and an open API would let bots read that feed and buy first. We will update this page if that changes.
Is fomo.com a different company with its own API?
Not anymore. fomo.com now forwards to fomo.family, the Fomo app. Old docs for a Fomo API that sends sales pop-ups to online shops belong to an unrelated marketing tool that used the same name.
